Ingolstadt, 31.05.2021

Technical progress, artificial intelligence, virtual realities and new work - where does that leave people? Hate and incitement on the net, fake news in the social media - what can we do about it? Sustainable living and building - how does that work in reality?

The transfer project "Mensch in Bewegung" is addressing these questions this summer semester. In four discussion rounds, scientists and practitioners will talk about current topics and shed light on very different perspectives. All interested parties are invited to join in the dialogue between the disciplines and the discussants from academia and practice and to discuss a specific topic from different perspectives.

The discussion series starts on 16 June with the topic "Migration in social media", offers a discussion round on the topic of gaming on 30 June, deals with the topic of sustainable construction on 14 July and goes into the summer break on 21 July with the topic of New Work. The discussion round will be broadcast via livestream from the Science Gallery in Ingolstadt's pedestrian zone from 17.30 - 19.00 each day. Viewers are invited to contribute with questions and further discussion points. More information on the individual events and registration can be found at: www.thi.de/go/transfer-talk.

"Mensch in Bewegung" is a joint project of THI and KU. The aim of the project is to promote the exchange of knowledge (transfer) between science, politics, business and civil society. The focus is on the topics of mobility, digitalisation, sustainability and civic engagement. The project is funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research as part of the "Innovative Hochschule".
