Your training programme:

Did you know? Every university needs an IT department – so nothing works here without our IT specialists (m/f/d)! Our IT specialists help our THI employees to configure IT systems. As part of our service team, you’ll get to do a wide range of assignments that are as diverse as our users’ needs. In the course of your training programme, you’ll gradually come to do projects where you can take more independent responsibility. All of this means you are helping us to secure digital sustainability at THI. Application procedure:

Would you like to apply for a job with us? Great! We look forward to receiving your application documents! Please remember to use the “Apply online” button at the end of the vacancy and send us your complete documents. These include:

  • Current curriculum vitae
  • Cover letter stating why you want to train for this profession and why you would like to start with us
  • School reports and internship certificates

We will start by checking whether your application is complete and then confirm receipt. Once we have assessed your application, we will decide whether to invite you to an introductory interview and potentially have you do a practical test that involves carrying out a task by yourself. If we like your application, the next step is for us to get to know you so as to decide whether you’re a good match for us and we’re a good match for you. The initial interview gives us the chance to find out who you are. We’re particularly interested in why you’ve chosen this profession and our university as a place to do your vocational training, how you’re doing at school, whether you’ve done any internships and what you do in your free time. Depending on the profession, you will then be set a test task that you have to complete on site. If everything goes well and we’re satisfied with what we see, we will offer you a training contract. It may take some time between your initial application and the contract signing, but we will always make sure you’re informed about the next stage in good time.

If you have any further questions about the application process or the selection interview, you’re welcome to get in touch with your contact person shown here on the right.
