To strengthen our teaching team, we are looking for a lecturer (m/f/d) to join us from the summer semester of 2027, who, as a specialist in the fields of internationalisation and growth strategies, can selectively supplement and expand our range of courses.

Your Responsibilities:

• You will teach the module ‘Internationalisation and Growth Management’ on the Global Economics and Business Management B.Sc. programme at THI Business School.
• Course content includes, among other topics:

  • Opportunities, risks and cultural challenges of internationalization, including key growth management concepts

  • Defining an international growth strategy: identifying attractive target markets, approaches to internationalization and setting a growth ambition by segment and geography

  • Executing organic growth plans and shaping the business model for international expansion

  • External growth through M&A: company valuation, structured M&A processes and due diligence

  • Ensuring sustained success of international growth, applied to real-life case studies

• Your course times are based on the provisional calendar for the respective summer term (mid-March to early July) or winter term (October to early February) and can be arranged flexibly within this framework by mutual agreement.
• You will familiarise yourself with the electronic media used at THI and will also be able to use them in your teaching.

Your Profile:

• You have a university degree and possess teaching aptitude, demonstrated by experience in teaching or professional practice.
• You have at least three years’ relevant professional experience, towards which periods of teacher training of up to one year may be counted.
• Furthermore, you enjoy interacting with students and possess excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• You are able to cater to the needs of students from different cultural backgrounds. You are familiar with the use of modern electronic media.

The teaching post is for the duration of the course, up to a maximum of one semester. The university aims to establish a longer-term collaboration. Remuneration, including travel expenses, is paid in accordance with the current rates for lecturers at Ingolstadt University of Applied Sciences.
