Information for prospective Bachelor students

Choosing the right degree programme is not always easy. The decision in favour of an academic education not only marks the start of a career, but also a new phase in life. For many prospective students, it is the first major decision they have to make independently. This presents plenty of challenges, which we would like to support you with on our website.

Step by step to the right degree programme

Step 1: View study programmes and information on the degree programmes

All our Bachelor's degree programmes can be found on one page, sorted by faculty (sub-discipline). You will always find the same scheme on the degree programme pages, which is easy to compare:

  • Rough overview of the degree programme: Take a look at the graphical course plan.
  • structure, prerequisites or specialisations: You can find answers in the SPO in the column on the right-hand side of the page .
  • Detailed content of the degree programme and individual subjects: Consult the module handbook in the column on the right-hand side.
  • Authentic insights into the degree programme: At the top of the right-hand column for each degree programme is the link to the study ambassadors (THI students).
  • Subject-specific questions about the degree programme: Answered by the study advisor (on the right-hand side of the column)
