Internationalisation

BayIntAn
BayIntAn supports research collaborations between Bavarian and international universities. Funding is provided for start-up assistance, primarily mobility and accommodation costs. A contribution from the applicant is required; project-related costs such as personnel or infrastructure must be borne by the partners. The maximum funding amount is €10,000. Scientists (postdoctoral level or higher) at state and state-funded Bavarian universities are eligible to apply. The aim is to internationalise Bavarian university research.

ERASMUS+
Erasmus+ is the European programme for promoting mobility and cooperation in education. In the higher education sector, it supports students, universities, staff and partner organisations.
Funding is available for study and internship placements, teaching and staff mobility, and further training in Europe and worldwide. Travel and accommodation costs are reimbursed.

DAAD
The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) promotes international university relations in study, research and teaching. It addresses all academic career stages and supports the internationalisation of universities, German studies abroad and the establishment of high-performing universities in developing countries.

As the national agency, the DAAD also coordinates Erasmus+ in the higher education sector.
