Academic study can be a challenge, especially for students with a disability or chronic illness.
Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt (THI) wants to enable students with such health impairments to study under the same conditions as possible. We are happy to support you in successfully organising and completing your academic studies.
Veronika Eder from Student Counselling is the representative for students with disabilities or chronic illnesses at THI. You can contact her if you are looking for advice and support in connection with your health impairment before or during your academic studies. You can get in touch with her via studium-behinderung@thi.de.
Students who are already enrolled can apply for compensation for disadvantages in examinations. You can find this option in your PRIMUSS-Studierendenportal unter „Anträge und Nachrichten“. under "Applications and news". The contact for formal questions and deadlines is the Service Centre Study Affairs (SCS).
General questions about compensation for disadvantages can be discussed with Student Counselling.
Counselling on academic study with disabilities and chronic illness and other topics is offered by the Social Counselling of Studierendenwerk Erlangen-Nürnberg.
You can also find extensive information on this topic at the Deutschen Studentenwerk (DSW)
