We have had the pleasure of welcoming several schools to the Technische Hochschule over the last few days. On 18.07.2022, the students from the grammar school in Pfaffenhofen kicked things off. Then, on 26 July 2022, we had two schools on campus: a grammar school from Ingolstadt and one from Wolnzach. And finally, the pupils from the grammar school in Beilngries got a taste of the auditorium air.

The aim was to give the classes a study orientation and a varied insight into university life, as well as to get them excited about various topics and technology. The schools were divided into groups according to their interests and a varied programme was offered by all faculties.

There were many insights into different subject areas, many laboratories and some hands-on activities to discover with a final quiz at the end of the excursion.

Our Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology offered the following programme for the schools:

Robots to touch and control were on offer in the robotics lab with Prof. Christian Pfitzner and research assistant Michael Schmidpeter. Prof. Georg Passig gave an exciting interactive lecture on the subject of medical and electrical engineering. Prof. Steffen Lehner, together with his colleague Prof. Bernd Hafenrichter, presented Use Cases and Life Sciences to the classes.

We are pleased that so many visitors took advantage of the opportunity and took advantage of various offers with us on campus!
