The variety, the exchange with people, the development of personalities - that's what Ipek Alma particularly appreciates about her work at THI. The graduate in business psychology works as a personnel development officer at the university and designs training courses for employees, for example. "I find it nice to accompany people individually," says Alma. She is a good example of the fact that there are a whole range of other career options at THI in addition to the strong core area of research.

"THI is looking for committed employees," emphasizes Siri Lang, Head of Recruiting and Human Resources Development. "With us, there are exciting jobs in research, but also the science-supporting field." To showcase the range of jobs, THI is once again hosting a Talent Day on 26 October from 2 pm to 7 pm. At this event, you can meet the recruiting team in the information and networking zone in front of the F-building, register for the THI matching pool, and find out about current job advertisements.

At 5 p.m. there will be the opportunity to take a look at laboratories, offices, and seminar rooms during a campus tour. In addition, personality tests with brief feedback and beanbag lectures on the topics "How do I apply to the THI?" and "How do I do a doctorate at the THI?" will be offered from 2.30 to 6 p.m. At the "Science - Research - Doctorate" job speed dating event, interested parties can talk to professors Jürgen Bock, Gerhard Elsbacher, Richard Membarth, and Dr Meinert Lewerenz, Technology Field Director at the Institute for Innovative Mobility, to find out what science looks like as a career path.

The highlights of the afternoon include the opportunity to get free advice based on one's CV, to take a short personality test on one's strengths, or to introduce oneself to some professors or leaders in the fields of science or IT during the job speed dating sessions. All offers are free of charge. Further information and the complete program can be found at: www.thi.de/karriere/thi-talentday/
