Science and research in exchange with the region

In addition to topics such as language support, handwriting and self-regulated learning, workshops are offered on challenges and support options for young people in their choice of studies and careers or on live podcasts. Researchers will provide information on the latest findings relating to behavior in crisis situations such as the Corona pandemic, the mobility of the future in Ingolstadt and the region, artificial intelligence in interaction with our eye movements or attracting more (female) junior staff to companies.

CREAPOLIS from Coburg and Saxony5 from Dresden will present experiences from six years of knowledge and technology transfer. In addition, Dr. Jeremias Othman (Managing Director of the Haus der Wissenschaft Braunschweig) will report on how the Haus der Wissenschaft in Braunschweig is able to "generate enthusiasm for science and research through events" and how actors from science, business, the city and society can jointly promote knowledge-based urban development.

In the subsequent discussion, he will talk with Prof. Dr. Klaus Meier (Vice President for Studies and Teaching, KU Eichstätt-Ingolstadt), Dr. Theres Rohde (Director Museum of Concrete Art Ingolstadt), Fritz Peters (GEBRÜDER PETERS) and Knut Weber (Intendant Theater Ingolstadt) about the importance of science, research and universities in Ingolstadt and the region.

Interested citizens, teachers, entrepreneurs and students are welcome. In addition to the workshops and presentations, there will also be time for exchange and networking with all participants, for example at the get-together at 6:30 p.m. in the foyer of the Georgianum.

The Future Forum under the motto "wissen.schafft.wir."
