Expert Day 2021 - Testing cooperative driving manoeuvres

The Application Centre "Networked Mobility and Infrastructure" of Fraunhofer IVI, TH Ingolstadt with the Research and Test Centre CARISSMA, GeneSys GmbH and AB Dynamics GmbH are organising an Expert Day 2021 to test cooperative driving manoeuvres.

The communication of vehicles with their environment is another big step towards increasing safety in road traffic.

The technologies for networking are available and the first applications for driver information and warning are already in production vehicles. A multitude of use cases - from networking with the traffic infrastructure to sensor data exchange and manoeuvre coordination of highly automated vehicles - are possible.
