Under the direction of Dr. Marc Knoppe, Professor of International Trade Management, Strategic Marketing and Innovation Management at THI Business School, the edited volume “Unternehmerische Wertschöpfung neu aufstellen - Volatile, disruptive, digitale Welt – Anforderungen an das Management der Zukunft” (in English: Rethinking Entrepreneurial Value Creation - Volatile, Disruptive, Digital World - Requirements for the Management of the Future) has been published. A total of 15 professors and one research assistant from THI Business School were involved in the project. The idea was to create something together in order to make the comprehensive range of knowledge offered by THI Business School visible both internally and externally. The result was an ideal medium to give all interested parties from the business world, especially future specialists and managers who are being trained at the THI Business School, a deeper insight into the complex world of business administration. Many people often think of business administration only in terms of figures and cost savings, but this is an interdisciplinary field of research without which technical innovations would be inconceivable. This is because business administration forms the strategic framework for sustainable marketing and innovative value creation in a global and complex economic system - no technology, sustainability or innovation is possible without the right economic framework.

Prof. Dr. Marc Knoppe on the book: "I am very grateful for the excellent collaboration with my colleagues, especially for the valuable contributions by the authors. It is precisely the different contributions that make this book so interesting and valuable. This was our first joint project and because it went so well, we are already planning the second work, which is expected to be published in 2025. Producing a book involves a great deal of organizational effort, which is divided differently between the individual authors, the publisher and me as editor. As I am lucky enough to have well-organized colleagues who are always there to support me, working together in such a circle is even more fun. I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone involved as well as the publisher for the excellent collaboration and I am already looking forward to the next topic, which can only be tackled together."
