Children craft gift boxes for senior citizens

Upcycling for a good cause: Felix Brückl and Pascal Mößner, two students at THI Business School, worked with a municipal daycare center on a craft project to recycle old beverage cartons. The children at the daycare center used them to make small gift boxes, which they filled with animal figures folded from origami paper. The students gave the boxes away to residents of a retirement home. "Our most important goal was to please the seniors and show them that someone is thinking of them during Corona," Brückl and Mößner explained their motivation. The two students had their action credited as a social project for their studies.

Social projects like this are mandatory in all bachelor's degree programs at THI Business School.
