THI has decided to participate in the DEAL-Elsevier agreement. Like the DEAL agreements with Springer Nature and Wiley, this contract also contains a read and publish component.

THI members can now access large parts of the content of Science Direct and publish Open Access in Elsevier journals with central cost coverage.

Science Direct gives you access to many articles and chapters, peer-reviewed journals, e-books, subject pages and open access publications.

THI promotes Open Access. The library has been participating in DEAL contracts with the  publishers Springer Nature and Wiley for several years. There are further collaborations with the publishers PLOS and MDPI. Infrastructures such as the Directory of Open Access Books are also supported.
