Discover technology, find out about degree programmes, shape your future
Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt is committed to ensuring that girls of all ages with an enthusiasm for technology can realise their interest with attractive offers.
Through the Coding4Girls workshop, Ingolstadt University of Applied Sciences offers schoolgirls the opportunity to gain their first experiences in programming and to bring their own ideas to life digitally. The focus is on a playful and creative approach to computer science: participants use the Scratch programming language to develop their own small games and applications. In doing so, they learn the basic principles of programming – with no prior knowledge required and without any pressure to perform.
Make a note of the date: Wednesday, 18 November 2026, from 9 am to 1 pm
The ‘Hack & Snack’ programme is aimed at girls who would like to gain an initial insight into website design and programming. Over two afternoons, participants will learn the basics of HTML and CSS and develop their own web project – modelled on a recipe blog. Participants will discuss their results in a relaxed atmosphere whilst enjoying snacks together. The course covers basic knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript, as well as an introduction to the structure and design of their own websites. The programme is aimed at beginners; no prior knowledge is required. Participants will learn how to build their own website and which tools to use (HTML, CSS and JavaScript). The aim is to create their own website.

The Girls’ Research Camp at Ingolstadt University of Applied Sciences, organised in partnership with a company, is aimed exclusively at schoolgirls who are curious about technology, computer science, the natural sciences and innovative topics for the future, and who wish to find out whether a STEM degree or a technical career is right for them. Participants experience university life and the business world first-hand: they work together on a technical project, explore state-of-the-art laboratories, gain insights into current research and develop their own solutions to questions relating to technology and the future. The focus is on experimentation, teamwork and creative thinking – no prior knowledge is required.
There is a particular emphasis on interacting with female engineers, scientists and students, who share personal insights into their daily lives as students and professionals. The Girls’ Research Camp deliberately creates a space exclusively for girls, where they can ask questions, try out new things and build confidence in their own abilities. The programme is aimed at schoolgirls who are interested in technology, programming, research, engineering or a degree in the STEM subjects and who are seeking early guidance for their future careers.
