Sunny prospects for the European solar industry

We were there this year too! The students from the Master Renewable Energy Systems were invited to visit the world's leading trade fair for the solar industry "Intersolar" in Munich as part of the Intersolar Study Program.

Our students were able to explore the trade fair on their own, find out about new developments in photovoltaics, solar power plants, e-mobility and grid infrastructure, attend expert presentations and make contact with possible internship supervisors and potential employers. And finally, there was a group photo of all the students from the Bavarian universities participating in the Study Programme. A worthwhile excursion!

The pleasingly positive development of the European solar industry was also noticeable at this year's Intersolar. More than 1,250 exhibitors from all over the world presented their latest products and solutions in eleven exhibition halls. An extensive supporting programme of conferences, forums and side events attracted interested parties from all over the world - whether manufacturers, suppliers, installers or project planners. Every year, the trade fair is once again an ideal opportunity for students to find out about current trends, technical developments and also future employers and to expand their own network.
