Laboratory for measurement engineering (G311)

The laboratory for measurement engineering has the goal to impart basic knowledge and skills in the field of measuring. 

Goals and idea

Topics discussed in the lecture are deepened in laboratory experiments. Two objectives are pursued:

  • Application of measurement methods, which are especially important in mechanical engineering and related disciplines
  • Practical testing and investigation of methods of data acquisition, processing, evaluation and analysis.

  • Setup for measuring angle, speed and acceleration
  • Setup for flow measurement
  • Setup for digital data acquisition
  • Setup for digital measurement processing using LabVIEW

Lab sessions of the courses:

  • Measurement Engineering
  • Digital signal processing (within the scope of a further education course)
