The conference provided an exceptional platform for networking and collaboration. Participants were able to engage in numerous interesting discussions and exchange ideas and network during breaks and poster sessions. The master's program "Applied Research in Engineering Sciences" trains young engineers to work in applied research and development. The focus for each student is a research project. Each student is supervised by a professor in a research project during the entire course of study. The subject-specific orientation depends on the chosen topic or course. The master's program is a joint offering of the universities of Amberg/Weiden, Ansbach, Augsburg, Deggendorf, Ingolstadt, Landshut, Munich, Nuremberg and Regensburg. This means that a diverse range of research topics and courses is available, and each student can establish contacts with research institutes and companies across university boundaries for later professional activity while still studying. The program aims to provide the students with further scientific qualifications, including the preparation of a publishable publication.
