Research Master student Jenny Hofbauer presents at the escar conference

Jenny Hofbauer, an Applied Research Master's student in Prof. Hans-Joachim Hof's research group, presented her current research at the established automotive cyber security conference escar last week.

At the CARISSMA research and test center at THI, Jenny Hofbauer is researching the topic of Vehicle Security Operations Centers (vSOCs). The research work entitled "From SOC to VSOC: Transferring Key Requirements for Efficient Vehicle Security Operations" is part of the EU project SELFY and deals with the adaptation of Security Operations Centers to the protection of vehicle fleets.


The escar conference pursues the overarching goal of creating a platform to intensify cooperation between the private sector, research and authorities with regard to current threats to cyber security in vehicles by exchanging information and networking of stakeholders.

Jenny Hofbauer also expresses thanks to her team: "The opportunity to present the paper at escar was made possible above all by the support of her research group "Security in Mobility" and her colleagues at MBDA Deutschland GmbH."
