For several years, San José State University in California, USA, has been an active partner of THI. Prof. Wolf-Dieter Tiedemann maintains close contact with colleagues there and regularly carries out projects and exchanges.

A group of students with their professor Jon Pearce visited the THI for final presentations of the joint project on Rapid Human-Machine-Interaction (HMI) Design and Testing in the research field "bRight - A Future, Cognitive Desktop".

The goal of the project was to design and develop an intelligent user interface that increases a user's situational awareness and can quickly adapt to extreme stressful situations.

In addition to the joint presentations, sightseeing in Ingolstadt and Bavaria was of course also on the agenda for the US visitors.

The project is part of the enGlobe project (engineers go global) - funded by the DAAD/BMBF as part of the HAW.International program. More about the enGlobe opportunities: https://lnkd.in/d6h5U6g2.
