Scholarships are part of the promotion of gifted people and are therefore often awarded on the basis of very good to good performance and social commitment. The THI offers its students advice and support with their applications for both internal and external programmes.
Advisory services for scholarships (only for enrolled students)
Please briefly describe your situation, stating your course of study and semester, and give an overview of favourable availability times for an appointment in the next two weeks, including a telephone number for queries via stipendium@thi.de. We will contact you to arrange an individual consultation appointment with you!
Please also keep in mind following key points:
- Most scholarships are awarded based on academic performance and social engagement
- Financial difficulties are usually not considered
- Application options are mostly only after enrolment
- To receive a scholarship, in most cases you have to be entitled to BAföG
- A certain level of German language skills (at least B2) is required for many scholarships
- Information is mostly given in German only
