First cooperation in the dual master's degree program in patent engineering

Starting in the winter semester of 2023/2024, the THI will offer a master's degree program in patent engineering, the only one of its kind in Germany, which provides practice-oriented expertise for work in patent, research, and development departments of companies, research institutions and in law firms.

The master's program provides the proven option of a dual study program with an interlocking of the content taught at the university and professional experience in a company. Dual students already gain valuable practical experience during their studies and deepen and consolidate their specialist skills in a company. The dual study program offers companies the opportunity to recruit highly qualified employees at an early stage and retain them in the long term.

The new cooperation partner in the dual study program in patent engineering is Wolf GmbH, based in Mainburg. The WOLF Group is one of the leading suppliers of heating and ventilation systems. With approximately 2,100 employees, nine subsidiaries, and 60 sales partners in more than 50 countries, WOLF is internationally positioned. The expert for healthy indoor climate develops and produces sustainable heat pumps, hybrid as well as H2-ready gas heating systems, and highly efficient ventilation solutions for single and multi-family homes, office buildings as well as the industrial environment - products of an area with high innovation dynamics. Wolf GmbH has already advertised a position in the dual master's program in patent engineering. More details about the position and Wolf GmbH can be found at: www.wolf.eu.

Further information on the dual master's program in patent engineering, for which applications can be submitted until 31.08.23, can be found at: www.thi.de/elektro-und-informationstechnik/studiengaenge/patentingenieurwesen-msc/.
