Yannic Schmidt works as Employee & Labor Relations Professional in the Human Resources department of IBM Corporation and is completing an extra-occupational Master's degree in Business Management. He will finish his studies in winter term 2020.
He graduated in the Bachelor’s degree program Business Administration with a focus on Human Resources Management & Corporate Taxation in 2018. At the same time, he completed a vocational training as industrial clerk and was a working student and intern at Allianz and Airbus Defence & Space during his studies.
In his current position at the U.S. technology group IBM, he negotiates various topics with group and general works councils in Germany and advises national and international management. The topics range from the introduction of new software, the application of artificial intelligence, group-wide training measures to assessments of individual issues in terms of labor law and data protection.
He is interested in topics related to leadership, entrepreneurship, digital transformation, social & economic developments, stock exchange and online gaming.
