PRedictive Industrial Maintenance Agent for Batteries

The aim of the project is to research and validate an Internet of Things (IoT) platform that addresses the growing market of electric mobility in industry and logistics. For the secondary batteries used there, the aim is to predict impending failures and precise maintenance operations - predictive maintenance - and to compile relevant historical data. These measures will save high costs in productive operation and increase the degree of utilisation of the battery, also in its second life. These goals are to be achieved by means of scientific emulation of battery data, artificial intelligence algorithms and software and hardware tailored to the industrial environment, which minimises storage, computing and communication efforts and distributes them optimally between the IoT devices and a data cloud.
