Cyber Security Engineer (M. Sc.)

Strengthening digital sovereignty

Global networking and increasing digitalisation are creating new growth opportunities as well as new risks. The threat of cyber attacks is real and makes cyber security a strategic priority for companies and authorities. However, organisations are facing numerous challenges in the effective implementation of suitable cyber measures and the demand for experts in this field is increasing.

The part-time Master's degree programme "Cyber Security Engineer" focuses on the technical design aspects of cyber security and qualifies students to become specialists with a high level of implementation expertise and in-depth knowledge of complex security architectures and current technologies such as artificial intelligence. In addition, the Master's programme sensitises students to ethical issues and social responsibility and provides them with the legal framework for legal action. Graduates of this degree programme are able to plan and manage complex security projects and thus make a decisive contribution to defending organisations against cyber threats.
