Procurement management (MBA)

Experts for procurement in a globalised world

How do you take on leadership responsibilities in strategic procurement?

The MBA in Procurement Management qualifies you for a key role in modern procurement. You will acquire the skills to manage global supply chains, manage procurement risks and balance sustainability and cost objectives. The course content focuses on supplier management, international procurement strategies, cost and quality control, logistics and risk management. You will learn to coordinate interfaces efficiently, support procurement processes digitally and make informed decisions in complex market environments.
The part-time programme combines academic foundations with practical projects and is aimed at professionals with work experience.

Upon completion, you will be qualified for leadership roles in procurement as well as for positions in logistics, quality management, technical sales and risk management.

Admission and application

Admission requirements:

Admission to the MBA programme requires a first degree in engineering, technology or business administration from a German or foreign university with at least 210 ECTS credit points. You must also have at least one year of relevant, qualified professional experience in the field of procurement, purchasing or logistics after completing your university degree.

Admission option for a university degree with fewer than 210 ECTS credit points:

If you have a university degree with fewer than 210 ECTS credits or your degree with fewer than 210 ECTS credits is recognised, there is the possibility of having up to 30 ECTS credits from qualified professional experience credited.

If the higher education entrance qualification was obtained abroad, a preliminary examination of the higher education entrance qualification by uni-assist is required.
