<p>Provides methods and tools for cost engineering and risk management across product development and production. Students learn to evaluate cost drivers, assess technological risks, and integrate economic and technical decision-making in complex engineering projects.</p>
<p>This module provides concepts for designing, managing, and optimizing sustainable and resilient supply chains. Students analyze supply chain strategies, apply performance indicators, and develop practical solutions for international supply networks.</p>
<p>This module combines digital procurement with data science methods. Students apply IT tools, data analytics, Python programming, and concepts such as blockchain and digital twins to optimize modern procurement processes.</p>
<p>This module addresses the strategic role of procurement across the product life cycle. Students develop sourcing strategies, analyze supplier relationships, and apply methods such as target costing, should costing, and make-or-buy.</p>
<p>Selection of <strong>four elective modules</strong> that shape your academic profile, allowing you to set individual academic priorities. The offerings include, among others: Advanced Controlling & Compliance, Global Sourcing & Market Analytics, Leadership & Social Responsibility, Sustainable Value Management, Technical Process Qualification for Series Production Launch, Sustainability & Resilience in Supply Chain Management.</p>
<p>This module introduces methods and processes of innovation and technology management. Students learn to evaluate technological developments strategically, design innovation processes, and apply tools such as foresight, business model design, and IP management.</p>
<p>This module focuses on professional negotiation techniques and digital contract management. Students practice negotiation strategies, analyze intercultural differences, and apply legal and digital tools in procurement contexts.</p>
<p>In this module, students independently tackle challenging and current issues in the fields of procurement, digitalization, and supply chain management. The focus is on practice-oriented projects, often in collaboration with industry partners. Working in small teams, students develop scientifically sound solutions to real-world challenges in business practice.</p>
<p>The disciplinary elective module offers students the opportunity to individually expand their knowledge beyond the scope of the degree program. To this end, students can select appropriate modules from THI’s master’s program offerings.<br />A particular highlight is our international field trips and study projects:<br />South Africa – International cooperation, intercultural exchange, and practice-oriented projects.<br />USA – International study projects and insights into global economic and corporate structures.</p>

Applications for this degree may be submitted through the online application system from November 15th to January 15th for the summer term and May 2nd to August 31st for the winter term.
