Dr. Philipp Beltz-Kennecke

Dr. Philipp Beltz-Kennecke is a business- and people-focused HR executive with extensive leadership experience in large-scale transformations, labor relations, global HR governance, and HR operations. At CARIAD SE, he serves as SVP Head of HR Governance, Organization & Labor Relations. In this role, he is responsible, among other things, for global organizational development and the HR transformation of the CARIAD Group, as well as for designing a tech-oriented HR framework.

Prior to joining CARIAD, Dr. Beltz-Kennecke held various senior HR positions within the TRATON Group at MAN SE and MAN Truck & Bus SE. As VP and Head of Labor Relations & HR Principles, he was responsible for global labor relations issues, HR frameworks, and negotiations regarding labor law and employee participation in the context of the TRATON SE conversion and IPO preparations. In addition, he drove people transformations in holding company, production, and restructuring environments, negotiated collective bargaining agreements, and established HR compliance standards across group units.

His professional career also includes leadership roles in HR management. In these roles, he was responsible for HR matters affecting employees at all levels, established shared-service structures, supported integration and restructuring projects, and led site and transformation projects.

Dr. Beltz-Kennecke earned his doctorate (Dr. oeconomiae publicae) summa cum laude from LMU Munich. He also earned a Master of Business Research and a Diplom-Kaufmann degree from LMU Munich. His academic career began as a research assistant and lecturer at the Chair of Production and Controlling at LMU Munich, where his research focused on management accounting and corporate ethics.
