Over the past 31 years, Ralf Schneider has held several leadership positions at Allianz. Most recently, he served as Allianz Group CIO for 13 years before becoming Senior Fellow for Cybersecurity and Next-Generation IT in October 2023. In this role, Ralf Schneider advises the Executive Board of Allianz SE and Allianz Technology on IT and cybersecurity issues and shares his deep knowledge and experience.
In addition to his career at Allianz, Ralf Schneider holds leadership positions in several cybersecurity organizations, including “Cyber Security Sharing & Analytics (CSSA) e.V.,” the “German Cybersecurity Organization” (DCSO), and the Digital Society Institute (DSI) at ESMT in Berlin.
Ralf Schneider is also a member of the Executive Board of the Federal Association of IT Users (VOICE e.V.), a senator of the German Academy of Science and Engineering (acatech), and an advisor to the National Research Center for Applied Cybersecurity ATHENE.
Ralf Schneider holds a Ph.D. in computer science and a degree in mathematics.
