Putting knowledge into practice: Prof. Dr Christian Stummeyer brings his AI expertise to the stage

How is Artificial Intelligence transforming businesses, the world of work and entire sectors? Prof. Dr Christian Stummeyer of THI Business School explores this question not only through his research and teaching. In lectures and keynote speeches, he applies the latest findings on Artificial Intelligence and digitalisation to real-world contexts, thereby fostering dialogue between academia, business and society.

At the ‘Wirtschaft im Gespräch’ event in Rankweil, the focus was on how Artificial Intelligence is transforming small and medium-sized enterprises and the world of work. At VENDOeVent 26 in the SAP Garden, Prof. Dr Christian Stummeyer addressed generative AI and the question of how companies can move from knowledge to concrete action. He also contributed his expertise at the 10th Berlin Symposium on Technical Orthopaedics, speaking on Artificial Intelligence and digitalisation.

These appearances across various event formats and sectors highlight an important aspect of knowledge transfer at THI Business School: academic findings are made accessible beyond the university, reflected against practical experience, and brought into current social and economic debates.

This exchange is becoming increasingly important, particularly in a dynamic topic such as Artificial Intelligence. Dialogue with businesses and the specialist community helps to contextualise developments, discuss potential applications and, in turn, feed insights from practice back into the academic context.
