Become a student consultant at THI

As a Student Consultant, you’ll work very closely with THI’s Student Advisory Service as part of a small team of students to help you with your study choices! The programme is a unique element of study guidance and personal development. It also looks great on your CV ;-)
 

You’re an expert on your own generation and are currently exploring your career options. As a student consultant, you can contribute this expert knowledge to THI’s Student Advisory Service. You’ll receive personalised support on your academic guidance journey and, through projects with other prospective students, current students, lecturers, researchers, companies and other educational partners, you’ll gain an understanding of relevant content and skills within the various fields of study.

We support all interested parties, even those with no connection to THI’s fields of study!
Every participant receives individual support. No one-size-fits-all programme!

We are looking for:

• Pupils (Grammar School, FOS, BOS)
• Years 10–13
• Willingness to travel and to collaborate online

Your responsibilities:

• Discover your field of study
• Develop yourself personally
• Networking
• Gaining an insight into various professional contexts
• Provide feedback on existing THI services and processes (e.g. usability testing of digital services in the area of study guidance; attending events organised by the Student Advisory Service, etc.)
• Preparing reports/presentations with recommendations for action for the THI
• Designing new formats

What you should bring to the role:

• An open-minded attitude
• Reliability and flexibility
• No prior experience in consultancy required
