How to say goodbye professionally: "Digital Tuesday" with an explosive leadership topic

Separation talks are one of the most demanding tasks for managers. They require clarity, attitude, and humanity - especially when decisions are difficult. The first "Digital Tuesday" in 2026 will focus on how professional and appreciative farewells can be handled within companies. The online transfer format from "Mensch in Bewegung" and IFG Ingolstadt will take place on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Under the title "Bridge to the future: Conducting separation interviews professionally and humanely", the event will shed light on why the way in which separations are conducted has an impact far beyond the moment of parting. Well-managed severance interviews influence trust, corporate culture, and employer image - and, not least, shape the motivation of the remaining teams. Professional offboarding means more than just formal processes: It is about responsibility towards people and respectful behaviour, even in difficult situations.

In a compact online format, Sandra Neumaier and Petra Weinzierl, both experienced coaches in the field of human resources and personnel development, provide practical impulses from their extensive professional experience and show how managers can prepare separation meetings in a structured manner, communicate clearly, and at the same time maintain appreciation and humanity. Participants will receive specific recommendations for challenging dialogue situations and learn how to maintain a tangible attitude and professionalism even under pressure.

The "Digital Tuesday" is aimed in particular at HR managers, executives, and company managers from SMEs in and around Ingolstadt who want to take responsibility and set professional standards even in phases of change. The online transfer format will also be implemented in 2026 in partnership between IFG Ingolstadt and the "Mensch in Bewegung" knowledge transfer project at Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt, which is funded by the BMFTR through the "Innovative Hochschule" funding line, and strengthens the exchange between science and practice in the region.
