The annual IEEE International Conference on Automation Science and Engineering took place in Bari, Italy, from 28 August to 1 September 2024.

The TTZ was represented at the conference by our Technology Field Manager, Dr. Babak Salamat.

The IEEE conference is one of the three most important conferences in the Robotic and Automation Society. Important companies and well-known scientists from the industry meet here to discuss innovations and progress in the field of robotics.

Dr Salamat presented his paper entitled "Investigating Integral Reinforcement Learning to Achieve Asymptotic Stability in Underactuated Mechanical Systems" ¹ and also served as chair of the Reinforcement Learning Session.

The IEEE conference in 2025 will take place in Los Angeles.
