The future with hydrogen: projects from the region

How far has the region progressed with the subject of hydrogen? What projects are already underway - and what's next? Answers to these questions will be provided on Friday, 27 June 2025, at the next event in the series ‘Hydrogen as the key to the energy transition’ at Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt (THI).

One element, many possibilities: Experts at the THI are working on harnessing the potential of hydrogen for the region (symbolic image: Pixabay).

From 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., experts from companies, the city administration, and universities will report on new developments, including the expansion of the hydrogen infrastructure and the legal framework, as well as specific applications in research, industry, and energy supply. Representatives from Bayernets GmbH, Bayernwerk Netz GmbH, Freudenberg e-Power Systems, the city of Ingolstadt, THI, and the Institute for New Energy Systems (InES) will be among those taking part.

The programme will be complemented by a poster exhibition in which THI students will present their projects and final theses on the subject of hydrogen, practically and clearly.

The event will take place in lecture theatre E003 at THI, and admission is free. Registration is requested at: events.thi.de/wasserstoff2025.

Interested members of the public are cordially invited to attend. Parking is available in the Congress car park (P11) and Schloss car park (P2).
