Their PhD programmes are the first to be offered by the Doctoral Centre for Engineering Sciences and AI/Computer Science, respectively, which was established in 2023 within the THI Doctoral School. Both centres are authorised to award doctoral degrees by virtue of the independent right to award doctorates granted to the THI as a research-intensive university.
