This is how I found out more:

After I found the degree programme at my desired company for a dual study programme, I looked at various websites on the Internet (e.g. StudyCheck) and watched videos of data scientists talking about their day and tasks.

My tip for study orientation:

You should consider beforehand whether you can imagine working in certain subject areas or whether you might enjoy the study content in general. If possible, it certainly doesn't hurt to get a taste of different courses on the degree programme.

Contents of my degree programme:

In addition to the basic information that is taught in the first year of study in the areas of statistics, mathematics and computer science, the following semesters focus on in-depth study in the modules Apllied Machine and Deep Learning and Probability Theory as well as Data Engineering and Optimisation. In addition, economic and technical content is on the curriculum, which complements the degree programme with economic knowledge and technical know-how.

Once a semester, our degree programme organises a Data Science Vernissage, where students and professors from all semesters meet, exchange ideas and have a great evening.
