That's why I opted for the degree programme at THI:

As the combination of the subject areas of biology/medicine and computer science appealed to me and the THI is easy to reach from my home, I opted for this degree programme.

Try to find a degree programme where the subjects not only match your skills, but are also fun.

Contents of my degree programme:

The degree programme teaches you how the fields of computer science, medicine and biosciences work together to develop modern healthcare solutions. In addition to theoretical principles, there is a strong focus on practical application, for example through exercises, projects and the practical semester.

You should have these character traits for the degree programme:

Curiosity about the natural sciences, willingness to learn, logical and analytical thinking skills

What I like best about the THI:

The atmosphere in the lectures. As Bio- and Medical Informatics is a comparatively small degree programme, you can ask questions in the lectures without any problems.

Although all the basics are taught, understanding the fundamental aspects of computer science, biology and medicine can make it easier for you to get started on the programme.
