Fahrzeugforensik (Zertifikat)

In the "Vehicle Forensics" certificate, participants acquire in-depth knowledge about the creation and storage of data in vehicles. They learn how to technically analyse and assess this information in order to use it specifically for accident analysis and reconstruction. A particular focus is on the investigation of road accidents involving electric and automated vehicles. Traditional methods of accident reconstruction are expanded to include the analysis of digital evidence and the consideration of legal aspects. This enables a modern, holistic reconstruction of complex accident events. In addition, the programme provides an in-depth understanding of the legal principles of forensics and enables participants to apply this knowledge competently to specific cases and issues.

The certificate is an integral part of the part-time master programme in Accident Analysis and is fully creditable.
