This is the campus for continuing education

Would you like to develop both professionally and personally without putting your career on hold? Since 2008, the Continuing Education Campus at Ingolstadt University of Technology has been offering practical programmes that perfectly combine study with work.

Our programmes are designed to enable you to apply new knowledge directly in your day-to-day working life. Small groups, a strong focus on practical application and close collaboration with businesses ensure an effective learning environment.

Throughout your studies, our support staff will be on hand to assist you – from organisational and financial matters right through to questions about the course content.

The THI’s Continuing Education Campus is dedicated to practical training, flexible learning opportunities and lifelong learning. Working professionals acquire future-oriented skills in the fields of automotive, engineering, business, IT and healthcare management, and develop their specialist knowledge in a targeted manner – through part-time degree programmes, certificates, modules and bespoke continuing education programmes.

  1. TCW@ForesightAI

    Artificial intelligence is rapidly transforming work processes and the skills required. Employees in small and medium-sized enterprises, in particular, are currently facing the challenge of keeping pace with these developments, understanding AI applications and integrating new technologies effectively into their day-to-day work. This is where our TCW@ForesightKI project comes in: the project is developing a new university certificate designed specifically to support employees in small and medium-sized enterprises in building fundamental and application-oriented AI skills. The aim is to prepare employees for the digital transformation in a practical way, to strengthen future skills and to ensure that AI knowledge can be directly applied to their own day-to-day work.

  2. Ingolstadt Patent Talks

    New topics and developments are shaping the world of intellectual property (IP). The Ingolstadt Patent Talks address these topics and offer a forum for discussion on developments in the field of IP on one Thursday a month from 4.30 pm to 6.00 pm. Held in a digital format with live moderation, experts provide interesting insights and updates on industrial property rights through short presentations, discussions and live chat. A distinctive feature of this IP event format at Ingolstadt University of Technology is its practical focus, with topics that are directly applicable to day-to-day intellectual property work. Those interested in IP can join the live stream to ask questions or watch the recording later.

  3. AI@ProSuccess

    Students studying alongside work need learning programmes that can be flexibly integrated into their everyday working and personal lives and that take account of varying levels of prior knowledge. This is precisely where AI@ProSuccess at the THI Campus for Continuing Education comes in: The project is developing a workflow that uses AI to transform existing teaching materials (e.g. lecture notes and slide decks) into compact, interactive microlearning units (‘Learning Nuggets’), in order to specifically support learning that is independent of time and location. Furthermore, AI@ProSuccess builds on the THI’s AI expertise and links to the THISuccessAI project, where a dashboard system—including AI-supported, learning-progress-based recommendations—was developed.

    Mit dem Förderprogramm TrainInG (=Training & Innovation & Geistiges Eigentum) bieten wir KMU und Start-ups ein Weiterbildungsprogramm im Bereich Geistiges Eigentum (= Intellectual Property, kurz IP) das sie für dieses Thema sensibilisiert und qualifiziert. Der Fokus unseres Programms liegt insbesondere auch auf den Chancen und Herausforderungen, die sich durch die Digitalisierung ergeben und auf dem Schutz grüner Technologien in den Zukunftsfeldern Energie, Umwelt, Klima und Mobilität.
