The Neuburg Sustainability Talks at Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt (THI) will continue on Tuesday, the 5th of May. Under the title "Land use conflict in Neuburg - the example of the second Danube bridge", the focus will be on a topic that has preoccupied the region for years. Professor Thilo Feucht from the Sustainability Campus Neuburg at the THI and Dr Meike Fienitz from the Leibniz Centre for Agricultural Landscape Research will provide a scientific perspective on the various issues. In addition, Lord Mayor Gerhard Schoder (Alliance 90/The Greens) and city councillors Florian Herold (Free Voters) and Matthias Enghuber (CSU) will discuss the political dimensions on the ground. The series combines scientific perspectives with experiences from politics, business, and civil society and addresses current issues of sustainable development in the region. The event will be chaired by Bernhard Mahler, press spokesman for the city of Neuburg an der Donau. The event starts at 6:30 pm in room CN004 at the Sustainability Campus Neuburg (Donauwörther Straße 83B / An der Hochschule 1B). Admission is free; registration is not required. |
