Discover academic study, experience the campus

At the HIT in Ingolstadt, THI presents its entire Bachelor's programme. The six Faculties - Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering and Business, THI Business School, and Faculty of Sustainable Infrastructure - present their study courses in short presentations. Visitors can learn more about specialisations such as Automotive Engineering, Robotics, Electrical Engineering and Electric Mobility, Computer Science and Cybersecurity, Engineering and Business, and Business Administration.

The HIT also offers numerous opportunities to experience research and applications first-hand. Several laboratories open their doors, including facilities for Robotics, Production Engineering, Circuit Technology, Life Sciences, and Digital Medicine. The research centre for vehicle safety, CARISSMA, also invites visitors to take part in guided tours. Those interested in technology can see autonomous model racing vehicles - so-called "Roboracers" - in action and familiarise themselves with modern manufacturing and development technologies. In the "Let's try AI" format, visitors can try out how Artificial Intelligence works. The AImotion team shows how AI is changing mobility in its own AI trailer. Campus tours with students also provide an authentic impression of everyday student life.

In addition, the student counselling service and other university facilities will provide information on applications, study organisation, and stays abroad. The dual studies (programme), which combines academic training with practical experience in a company, will also be presented. Together with the university, partner companies such as Audi, Airbus, DB, MBDA, and Siemens Healthineers will be presenting their programmes for students.

The day before, the Neuburg campus, which is home to the Faculty of Sustainable Infrastructure, will open its doors. The focus will be on study courses such as Sustainable Civil Engineering, Architecture, Sustainability and Environmental Management, as well as Psychology and Sociology of Sustainable Transformation. In compact lectures, lecturers explain the content, projects, and appointments of the programmes.

Practical relevance also takes centre stage there: in the "Open Lab" format, lecturers and students demonstrate how materials are tested and which technologies are used in the construction industry today - from building material experiments to digital applications. Those interested in creativity can try out their drawing skills at "Drawing and sketching like architects". Those who want to get to know the campus better can join a guided tour: At "Walk and Talk - My Campus World", students talk about their everyday lives and show lecture theatres, laboratories, and common areas.

The HIT thus offers the opportunity to get to know study courses at both locations, to clarify questions directly, and to gain a lively impression of academic study at THI.
