As part of the project seminar “Corporate Taxation & Accounting,” students from the bachelor's program in business administration visited INTARIA GmbH in Munich. Prof. Dr. Alois Rauscher, who teaches internal and external accounting at THI Business School and leads the project seminar, accompanied them on the visit.

After a welcome by Fabian Galler, partner and managing director, Oliver Trautwein, senior manager, and Emily Spencer from the Human Resources department presented the company and provided insights into career opportunities at INTARIA GmbH. The students then received a tour of the INTARIA headquarters, which were newly occupied in 2025.

The students then presented the results of their project work. In small groups, they analyzed a total of six large listed companies from different industries.  Financial and operating performance, as well as strategic aspects were considered. The companies' publications on EU taxonomy were also incorporated in the analyses. During the rest of the full-day event, the students discussed their findings with Oliver Trautwein, who also provided insights into current developments in professional practice, particularly in sustainability reporting.

The students, who are specializing in “Corporate Taxation & Accounting,” thus had the opportunity to get to know a rapidly growing medium-sized auditing and consulting firm and to discuss the results of their work with practitioners. The visit underscored THI Business School's commitment to closely integrating theory and practice.

Further information on the degree program and the possible specializations can be found on the program page.
