THI Business School is sending out a clear signal: personal development is not a “nice-to-have”, but a key success factor - both professionally and privately. This is why new, practical modules are now anchored in all Bachelor degree programs, which are specifically aimed at the personal development of students.
What once began as the elective subject “Resources and Development” has now grown into a comprehensive module concept. In intensive block seminars, students delve deep into the world of self-reflection and the development of potential. They explore the neurobiological foundations of human behavior, discover their own resources, analyze emotions, motivation and values - and formulate a personal vision for their lives.
A special focus is placed on the art of appreciative communication and the ability to present oneself and professional content convincingly - both of which are essential for a successful path into and through professional life.
Whether in group discussions, role plays or practical exercises: With creative methods and plenty of room for self-development, students experience how personal development comes to life. The result? Enthusiasm and consistently positive feedback from the participants.
This forward-looking concept is made possible by the intensive commitment of the faculty and targeted financial support from the Teaching Innovation Fund.
