The summer semester at THI Business School has already been in full swing for a fortnight. This year too, the Business School is experiencing constant demand for its degree programs.
At the start of the semester, around 65 new students began their Bachelor's degree in the Business Administration study course. In addition, almost 100 new students began a Master's program at the THI Business School. The academic community is complemented by eleven exchange students from Europe and Asia, who contribute to the international atmosphere of the faculty.
As usual, a central element of the start of the program for Bachelor students was the induction week. This not only serves as an organisational orientation, but also lays the foundation for the practical academic studies at the THI Business School. Accordingly, a clear focus was already placed on the connection to business practice in the first week.
Excursions to the start-up Cosmema and the company Büchl were on the program right at the start. On site, the students gained insights into different business models, operational processes and entrepreneurial challenges. The opportunity to get to know real-life examples and talk to specialists and managers was met with great interest and contributed to a motivating start to the academic study program.
With this varied start, the THI Business School is also focussing on a close integration of theory and practice in the current semester. The faculty wishes all students a successful summer semester.
