As part of the Human Resources project seminar in the Bachelor's degree program in Business Administration, students from THI Business School visited Sparkasse Ingolstadt Eichstätt together with lecturer Prof. Dr. Michaela Regler. The aim of the excursion was to gain insights into the practice of personnel development and to deepen the dialogue with the HR department there.
The seminar dealt with current issues of securing skilled labour in sales, attracting young talent and strategies to motivate experienced employees in the long term and positively shape their professional future.
During the excursion, the participants had the opportunity to ask their contact persons at the savings bank questions and familiarise themselves with the day-to-day business. Mr Jörg Tiedt, Assistant to the Savings Bank Management Board, presented the company's guidelines and values.
The results of the recommendations for action developed in the project will be presented to the savings bank in January. The seminar thus offers students a valuable opportunity to combine theoretical content with practical experience and to actively shape communication with corporate partners.
Projects with business partners, such as this one, are an integral part of all degree programs at THI Business School. The aim is to illustrate to students the link to practice.
