THI Business School recently welcomed visitors from India: Prof. Dr. Satyendra Kumar Upadhyay from the Somaiya Institute of Management in Mumbai was a guest at Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt (THI). During his meeting with Prof. Dr. Kathrin Tissot-Daguette, the internationalization officer at THI Business School, and Sonja Bedington, head of the International Office, he presented the “valuable partner” award—a sign of appreciation for the existing university partnership.
Prof. Dr. Peter Augsdörfer had already visited the partner university in Mumbai the previous year. The discussion at THI was characterized by mutual interest and exchange. Mr. Upadhyay was particularly pleased about the THI Business School's recent AACSB accreditation.
Ideas for further intensifying cooperation were also discussed. The Somaiya Institute of Management is also AACSB-accredited – a promising basis for future joint projects and exchange formats.
International encounters such as these demonstrate how valuable experience abroad is during one's studies. It broadens one's personal horizons, strengthens intercultural skills, and creates career prospects – especially in a globally networked environment such as that of the THI Business School. There are numerous opportunities for students at THI to spend a semester abroad or participate in international projects.
Those interested in studying with an international profile can apply for the winter semester until July 15 or August 31.
