A significant step for the further development of the faculty was the strengthening of personnel: With Prof. Daniela Bergmann and Prof. Dr. Ludwig Angerer, two new professorships were gained, which enrich the teaching team in Neuburg both professionally and personally.
A particular milestone was the graduation of our first students, who successfully completed their studies in the Sustainability and Environmental Management and Industrial Engineering (Construction) programs. Their transition from university to the alumni network was duly celebrated and marks an important moment in the still young history of the campus.
Another highlight was the first on-campus festival in Neuburg, which, with over 1,000 visitors, was a resounding success and impressively demonstrated how vibrant and open the Neuburg campus is. We hope to repeat it in 2026.
The faculty's continuous growth continues: Nearly 500 students are now enrolled – and the number is still rising. This positive development is also reflected in the numerous excursions undertaken in the degree programs in 2025. Destinations such as Airbus, Aschaffenburg, AVA Augsburg, Innsbruck, Roth, Neu-Ulm, and many others offered students valuable insights into practical applications, business, and infrastructure.
The growing interest in the Neuburg campus demonstrates that events like the 2025 University Information Day (HIT) are having an impact and further enhancing the appeal of our study programs. Looking ahead, we hope to continue this successful path – particularly with the launch of the new Architecture (B.Eng.) programs in the summer semester of 2026 and the Architecture (B.Eng.) program in the winter semester of 2026/27.
We thank all students, staff and colleagues for their commitment and enthusiasm and wish you a peaceful Christmas season and a good start to the new year.
