Visiting professor from Norway at our faculty

Stanislav Lange, Associate Professor at NTNU Trondheim in Norway, visited THI and the Faculty of Computer Science last week. The visit, funded by the DAAD's visiting professor programme, serves to improve and expand THI's international relations.
He gave a lecture as part of the master's course ‘Security of Modern Networks’ in the Cloud Applications and Security Engineering programme. In addition, he conducted various coverage, throughput and latency measurements on THI's 5G campus network for research purposes with hosting professor Michael Jarschel.
The aim of the visit is to strengthen cooperation between NTNU and THI in the field of mobile communications research, to exchange experiences with the operation of 5G campus networks and to provide international impetus for teaching at THI in the field of networks.
