THI co-operates with New Uzbekistan University

Ingolstadt University of Applied Sciences and the newly founded New Uzbekistan University in Tashkent have signed a Memorandum of Understanding. This declares their intention to work closely together in the future.

THI is further expanding its international partner network: THI President Professor Walter Schober and Professor Bakhtiyor Yuldashev, Rector of the New Uzbekistan University in Tashkent, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on future cooperation. The subject of the MoU is a close exchange in research and teaching.

THI President Professor Walter Schober was delighted with the MoU: "The New Uzbekistan University will shape the scientific region in Central Asia. This offers interesting opportunities for cooperation to attract the best talent to Ingolstadt." TUM President Emeritus Professor Wolfgang Herrmann, who accompanied the delegation together with representatives of the TUMint project, set the course for cooperation with the New Uzbekistan University.

After a tour of the campus with a visit to various laboratories and the CARISSMA research building, the Uzbek delegation's visit ended with a joint lunch.
