From Tuesday, the 23rd of April, researchers from Ingolstadt University of Applied Sciences will once again be hosting the Neuburg Sustainability Talks. They will present their work in dialogue with interesting guests from politics and business. The main focus will be on the question of how science can contribute to making the region more sustainable.

The Neuburg Sustainability Talks are open to all interested parties. In May and June, five rounds of talks will take place on Tuesdays from 6.30 to 8.00 pm in room CN004 on the Neuburg campus.

This year's Sustainability Talks will begin on the 23rd of April at 6.30 pm with the topic "Into the future with a 30 km/h speed limit. From the countryside to the city and back". Professor Uwe Holzhammer and Professor Stefanie Schmidtner from THI will join Michael Spangler (Spangler Touristik), Frank Huchzermeyer (Autohaus B13), and Anno Mertens (Audi AG) to discuss the future of mobility between urban and rural areas. The focus will be on the interactions with the energy transition, the role of e-mobility in public transport, and aspects of motorized private transport. Current and future developments such as charging strategies and the use of artificial intelligence in road transport will also be discussed. The event will be moderated by Bernhard Mahler, a press spokesman for the city of Neuburg. Afterward, there will be an opportunity to ask questions and take part in the discussion. All interested parties are cordially invited.

Participation in the events is free of charge. Further information on the individual discussion rounds and registration can be found at www.thi.de/NNG.

The Neuburg Sustainability Talks are organized by the "Mensch in Bewegung" project.
