Since April, researchers from Ingolstadt University of Applied Sciences (THI) have once again been organizing the Neuburg Sustainability Talks. They present their work in dialogue with interesting guests from the region. The main focus is on the question of how science can contribute to making our region more sustainable.

Next Tuesday, 7 May, Prof. Dr Julia Blasch (THI), Hans-Peter Wilk (Caritas e. V.), Prof. Dr. Martin Schneider (Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt) and Manfred Rössle (Bürger-Energie-Genossenschaft) will be looking at the social aspects of climate protection. They will discuss whether and how climate protection measures can, for example, help to reduce the negative effects of climate change on disadvantaged population groups by improving access to clean air and water. The discussion will be moderated by Bernhard Mahler, press spokesman for the city of Neuburg a. d. Donau. Afterward, there will be an opportunity to ask questions and join in the discussion. All interested parties are cordially invited. The event will take place from 18:30 to 20:00 in room CN004 on the Neuburg campus.

Further information on the individual discussion rounds and registration can be found at www.thi.de/NNG. The Neuburg Sustainability Talks are organized by the "People on the Move" project.
